I have also tested VLC on Ubuntu 16.04 and issue still exists. I also tried to apply official daily PPA from https://launchpad.net/~videolan/+archive/ubuntu/stable-daily:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:videolan/stable-daily sudo apt-get update Update is installed, but issue is the same. Two questions: 1. Was this bug fixed also for Ubuntu 16.04 or just for the latest Ubuntu 16.10? 2.
