@ Sebastian Bacher: I found an existing bug report about this problem at Gnome Bugzilla, and I added my comment to it: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=745968 The report and the latest comment are a year and a half old, but the bug is marked as new. I guess it's better not to expect a quick patch.
@ dino99: Thanks for the workaround, dino99. It alleviated the problem somewhat. It would help more if I'd decrease the font size further, but the text would get too small then. ** Bug watch added: GNOME Bug Tracker #745968 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=745968 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1631560 Title: Narrow spacing of icons in Files affects file names To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1631560/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
