Public bug reported: Reproduce: 1. Go System settings>Security&Privacy>Locking and unlocking>Lock security 2. Set a 4 digit passcode and press back button in upper left(If you already had 4 digit skip this step) 3. From this view you can check that Lock security is set as passcode 4. Now enter Lock security again, change it to pass-phrase and press back again
What happened: when changing between passcode and passphrase does not update the security type in System settings>Security&Privacy>Locking and unlocking view What did I expect: once you change from 4 digit passcode to passphrase or vice versa, the locking & unlocking view should be updated with the correct security type Add info. once you close and reopen system settings lock type is correctly updated. ** Affects: ubuntu-system-settings (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Confirmed ** Changed in: ubuntu-system-settings (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1630988 Title: Security panel does not reflect security lock type after changing it To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-system-settings/+bug/1630988/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
