I have a D610 and it is behaving the same. I upgraded from Feisty to Gutsy and I cannot get the effects to work and it says the same thing "The Composite extension is not available". Also, like others, under Feisty, when I did get them to run it would lock up randomly. Maybe if more people were to report this same problem someone who can do something about it will. Here's hoping they will. I'd like to see it work in my machine.
