> This is not an issue in 16.04 as evince opens to a populated recent documents screen
I disagree with this, one of the main points of the feature is to open files while you are reading other ones. This is an important user facing feature and I can't see why it's listed a 'low' priority. We've waited 2 years for an LTS upgrade from 14.04 to 16.04 for evince, and it seems like we'll have to wait two more for a basic feature. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1365296 Title: No 'recent' files shown until a file is opened (due to gmenumodel changes) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/1365296/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
