Do you have any examples for music players that recognise <album_title>.<extension>? (I'm not aware of any at this point.)
The existing list of file names exists because they are widely used by various players, so we are just following established precedent here. We can look at supporting this, but I'd prefer to do this only if there are popular music players that already support this. If not, I don't think we'd be doing the world a favour by adding yet another file name convention to the already messy situation. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1627252 Title: Recognize album artwork with "Album title.supported_extension" filename To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/music-app/+bug/1627252/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
