Public bug reported: Sony Vaio VPCEA3C5E
Normally suspending this laptop works fine, but if I have been using the system a lot (lots of applications open, etc.) there is a high likelihood that it will freeze when suspending. The screen goes black and all disk activity stops but the machine is still turned on and does not respond to any keypresses including trying Ctrl-Alt-F1 or the power button etc. The only way out is to turn off the power and boot again. As this happens mainly when programs are open (it doesn't seem to matter exactly what is open, just that the system isn't idle. Maybe when lots of memory is used?) it basically only happens at the worst possible times!
