This has been fixed in Ubuntu 16.10 Beta with gnome-maps 3.21.91-1 and
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libchamplain/0.12.14-1
This should work in Ubuntu 16.04 with the GNOME3 Staging PPA in a few
hours once gnome-maps 3.20.3.1-0ubuntu1~ppa1 successfully builds and is
published there.
