This seems as though it has the potential to interact disastrously with <https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/89853>. If one or the other isn't fixed, then there may be quite a few people (myself included) left with a choice between no suspend or no graphics whatsoever.
