Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-main-menu
Trying to reorder applications in the Favorite Applications section of the menu is near impossible, as when you move one entry around, other entries move in completely unpredictable ways. I'm not sure what could be causing this, but I do know that a version of gnome-main-menu that I had under Feisty from a third-party repository did not misbehave like this. To reproduce: 1) Install gnome-main-menu and add to panel 2) Go into More Applications and right-click a few apps to Add to Favorites (removing the default entries makes no difference here, I've done it both ways) 3) Back in the main slab, drag the applications around to reorder them I'm running with all the updates as of this bug report. Please let me know if I can provide more info. ** Affects: gnome-main-menu (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- drag and drop reordering of applications in gnome-main-menu is maddening https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/151189 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
