current build number: 413 device name: krillin channel: ubuntu-touch/rc-proposed/bq-aquaris.en last update: 2016-08-23 15:40:06 version version: 413 version ubuntu: 20160823 version device: 20160606-ab415b2 version custom: 20160805-985-38-15 Test plan: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Process/Merges/TestPlan/sync-monitor || Test invalid account token (fail to sync) Product: BQ E4.5 Steps to reproduce: 1º Setup a Google online account 2º Sync contacts with this account from address-book-app 3º Go to http://myaccount.google.com/ and click on "Conected apps & sites" 4º Remove Ubuntu from "Apps connected to your account"(this way Ubuntu is suposed to ask again for permissions on the phone) 5º Now try to sync contacts again from address-book-app Current result: I see the contacts transferring dialog of my google account in the upper notification bar even though Ubuntu was removed from the list at myaccount.google.com .By doing tail -f ~/.cache/upstart /sync-monitor.log there is no output about this contact syncing. Expected result: A notification should appear asking if you want to re- new your account toke, then clicking on yes it should trigger the sync- monitor helper app that should appear asking to click on the account to re-authenticate(asking again for permissions) Add info: video+logs ** Affects: sync-monitor (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1616343 Title: Contacts sync is not showing any message to re-new G-account after revoking Ubuntu permissions To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sync-monitor/+bug/1616343/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
