It's not mounted correctly, though. Note that, in the mount output,
there is no "storage/media on /storage/media".

Do this:
sudo zfs umount storage/media/anime
sudo zfs umount storage/media/comedy
sudo zfs umount storage/media/comics
sudo zfs umount storage/media/documentaries
sudo zfs umount storage/media/ebooks
sudo zfs umount storage/media/movies
sudo zfs umount storage/media/mp3
sudo zfs umount storage/media/musicfilms
sudo zfs umount storage/media/spoken-word

This will leave storage mounted at /storage. Then, `ls /storage/media`
and you'll see it is NOT empty, but has (hopefully empty) directories
for those mountpoints. Delete them:

sudo rmdir /storage/media/anime
sudo rmdir /storage/media/comedy
sudo rmdir /storage/media/comics
sudo rmdir /storage/media/documentaries
sudo rmdir /storage/media/ebooks
sudo rmdir /storage/media/movies
sudo rmdir /storage/media/mp3
sudo rmdir /storage/media/musicfilms
sudo rmdir /storage/media/spoken-word

At that point, /storage/media should be empty. Now, mount storage/media:
sudo zfs mount storage/media

Assuming that all works, mount the remainder of the filesystems again:
sudo zfs mount -a
