** Description changed: gsettings-desktop-schemas 3.16+ includes this boolean key: org.gnome.desktop.privacy report-technical-problems This key is used in GNOME's Settings app and Initial Setup tool. It would be great if Ubuntu would be able to integrate with that. Perhaps /etc/default/apport enabled=0/1 could be deprecated in favor of that key. Maybe apport could watch for that key and set /etc/default/apport and/or the other way around? For full integration into GNOME, apport may need to implement a stub of abrt's org.freedesktop.problems.daemon dbus service. (abrt is the crash reporter used by RHEL, Fedora and derivatives.) This is ok since abrt is not packaged in Debian or Ubuntu and their derivatives as far as I know.
