There's a reasonable chance that that this bug has been fixed, although
without log files I cannot be sure. Herbert, if you can reproduce this
bug with Kubuntu 6.06.1, please reopen this bug and attach
/var/log/installer/syslog, /var/log/syslog, and /var/log/partman. Anyone
else, please file a new bug.
If you're experiencing hangs, it may be that your system is failing to
read the CD correctly. I suggest burning the CD at a lower speed (if
applicable) and cleaning the CD drive lens with the sort of cleaning kit
you can get at electronics shops; then perform a CD integrity check
before starting the install again.
