Bug is still seen on Ubuntu 16.04. See also: http://osdir.com/ml/general/2013-01/msg36799.html
Thunar does not follow symlinks to find the .Trash-1000. gfvs-trash (used by thunar) does not look for .Trash-1000 on the partition where the real to-be-deleted-data resides but on the partition where the symlink itself is found. Hope that will change. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1497918 Title: File couldn't be moved to trash: Invalid link across device boundaries To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1497918/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
