I have had this very problem. Removing Flash and re-installing doesn't help. I have moved .mozilla out of the way from /home/<user> and then started Firefox again with out any change in the results. I DO suspect Flash and NOT Firefox as the cause. BUT this could be hardware related.
:~/.mozilla/plugins$ ls -l total 6892 -rw-r--r-- 1 andys andys 856 2006-12-15 13:51 flashplayer.xpt -rwxr-xr-x 1 andys andys 7040036 2007-06-19 17:31 libflashplayer.so I am using a Foxconn Winfast 6150K8MD motherboard AMD 3800+ processor and 2GBytes of RAM. I am using on-board video card which uses on board RAM for the Video. The problem was worse when I used 512MBytes of RAM and memory leakage cannot be discounted. At that time I had a matching swap size. Since then I have re-installed Ubuntu with a 3Gbyte swap size Hopefully this confirmation will include the logs for Firefox. -- Firefox Crashed While Switching From One Video To Another On YouTube https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/77213 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
