Hi Christopher, The graphics problem has not re-occurred so far. Hopefully, you don't mind me asking a few questions.
1. I am using an external monitor as the laptop screen is small. Is that a problem in terms of identifying the problem? In other words, would it be specific to my laptop's screen? 2. Ubuntu 15.10, which I allowed to update seems very slow. It has also been unstable and automatically sent a report. At the time, I had both Firefox and Speed-dial Opera open. Earlier, during an update, it asked if I wanted to update to 16.something. Would that be better? - Please note that I am using an old machine, the specs of which are listed below. 3. In Firefox, I have repeatedly had an indication that a script is running but unresponsive, "A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue. Script: https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/lidar.js:26" I have indicated to stop the script, but it returns. Any ideas? Thanks, Jonathan From: Christopher M.
