Dear Christopher It's a HP ENVY 17-j188ez. In the meantime I've noticed that the problem doesn't happen all the time, however I've not yet found out under which circumstances it happens.
Every night I put it into sleep by closing the lid. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It seems like if it stops working, it won't work at least until the next reboot (however, a reboot doesn't necessarily solve it for the moment. It *may* work after a reboot). I was also thinking if it may be related to updates (e.g. Kernel), because I'd say it usually works good for a few days, maybe up to weeks and then again there can be periods where it won't work whatever you try. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1583303 Title: Laptop not going to suspend when lid closed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-nouveau/+bug/1583303/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
