Public bug reported: After closing my laptop lid and re-opening it the text in widgets and window handles renders corrupted (with random garble, or sometimes just one character that would normally be found around about that position) or not at all. When I closed my laptop lid I had a YouTube video fullscreened. I have attached some screenshots of the issue. Even though the text in gtk dialogues seems corrupted I can copy and paste it somewhere else and it will paste the correct, uncorrupted text.
I'm running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xubuntu upgraded from Trusty). I've tagged Systemd, GTK, XMir and Mir because I think they are the chief suspects here. Thank you for your time. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: gtk mir rendering suspend systemd xmir ** Attachment added: "An example of the issue" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1596664/+attachment/4691229/+files/Screenshot_2016-06-27_19-30-24.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1596664 Title: Text renders incorrectly after suspend and unsuspend.
