I select widescreen since it's a 1280 x 800 LCD display. When I try to save this, I get the notification that a Crash report has been detected. When I try to select a resolution under the plug n' play monitor, the resolution and Hz are blank with no options. When I manually select LC display 1280x800, intially it only offers me 800x600 resolution to choose from. I have to save the display location and press OK. When I next go to the settings, it offers me more screen resolutions. If I pick 1280x800 and save the lcoation again and press OK, then open the app again, it shows the original Custom 1 option (above). If I select the location settings, it shows my saved setting sonly with a resolution of 1280x768. If I change it back to 1280x800, it forgets it each time. Despite all of this, my display is fine and these settings seem to have no effect whatsoever! ** Affects: displayconfig-gtk (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Provides no functionality for my display and doesn't save changes https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/149947 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
