Public bug reported:

As the title says. Those keys work fine in the address bar, but not in
any text fields inside the website. With a german layout I can't type
things like ~ \ { } [ ] etc.

(In order to test this, you might need to apply this branch to unity8
while it hasn't landed yet. Just copy
qml/Components/PhysicalKeysMapper.qml to the device on
/usr/share/unity8/qml/Components/:
https://code.launchpad.net/~mzanetti/unity8/cancel-alt-instead-of-
delay/+merge/296818 )

** Affects: webbrowser-app (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
