We are using autofs in order to mount user’s home directory on their logins. But sometime as soon as users are authenticated they see they are not able to get in their HD with the error ‘chdir unable to switch to home directory : too many levels of symbolic links’ Below is the output from /proc/mounts Filer1:/vol/vol1/usr2/user1 /usr2/user1 nfs rw,relatime,vers=3,rsize=65536,wsize=65536,namlen=255,hard,proto=tcp,timeo=600,retrans=2,sec=sys,mountaddr=192.168.182.21,mountvers=3,mountport=4046,mountproto=udp,local_lock=none,addr=192.168.182.21 0 0 We are experiencing this issue on most of the systems.
