I can confirm this. Seems to be related to the german locale for enigmail (enigmail-locale-de).
Changing system locale to en_US and starting Thunderbird enigmail is working properly (without german language). Reinstalling the enigmail- locale-de package after upgrading to the latest enigmail addon by installing the XPI package from http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ didn't help.
