I seem to have the same problem on an Acer ES1-311 notebook with the N3540 Bay Trail CPU. I have just tried the newest test kernel from Joseph Salisbury (up to commit 692a59e696afe1a4e777d0e4359325336ab0ad89) but it froze after approx. 2 hours.
