Personally, I suspend/resume multiple times a day, so either version of the driver is going to leave me with largely unusable 3D. I guess it would be more useful to have the old driver and know that I can at least restart the server if I want to run google earth or whatever. If we can't fix it then this chipset should definitely be blacklisted for compiz.
