I think this bug is a duplicate of bug in
https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-session/+bug/129029.
Trying to run Totem got this message: "Failed to connect stream: invalid
argument"
Running asoundconf-gtk in terminal Gutsy reports the following:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ lspci -v | grep audio
00:0b.0 Multimedia audio controller: Creative Labs SB Live! EMU10k1 (rev 05)
00:11.5 Multimedia audio controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT8233/A/8235/8237
AC97 Audio Controller (rev 60)
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ asoundconf-gtk
You need at least one ALSA sound card for this to work!
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$

** Attachment added: "No sound at login and during gnome session"
