upgraded my system to gutsy yesterday and know what ? All gtk menues are
black again! Recompiled and installed the gtk-qt-engine source (http
://gtk-qt.ecs.soton.ac.uk/) and everthing is fine again.

This problem reoccurres with EVERY ubuntu upgrade since... since hmmm...
anyway, since such a long time that i can't even remember the name of the
original kubuntu-release it happened first.
Due to the fact that gutsy is still beta, i strongly recommend to get rid of
this ASAP and for once and forever. I mean, the patch exists already for almost
2 years!

sorry for ranting here, but this is an annoyance which doesn't need to
be there, especialy since there is a fix for the problem since almost 2
years.
