Public bug reported:

I have three user accounts on running on the Gutsy beta. My account has
rights to administer the system and the other two accounts do not. After
updating to the beta, the display resolutions for all users and gdm was
reset to 1400x1050. The resolution was 1024x768. I used the new display-
config tool to reset the resolution, but the change only affected my
account. I had to enable rights to administer the system on each account
and had to use display-config within each account to alter that accounts
display resolution from 1400x1050 to 1024x768. I have not found a way to
change the display resolution for gdm.
