This is not a bug, it is a feature. All KDE apps use libcupsys2 to be
able to print. This way they have full support to the functionality of
CUPS. You can set all options of the driver and also all extra options
from CUPS (like N pages per sheet, gamma adjustment, page selection,
...). As the KDE apps do not woprk at all if libcupsys2 is not installed
there is a package dependency. And if you remove libcupsys and say "yes"
to the question with the long, long list, all listed packages get
removed.

To get rid of a package which does not smoothly update to its new
version, override the package dependencies via

sudo dpkg -r --force-depends libcupsys2

and then take care to install the new version of libcupsys2 to assure
that your KDE apps will work again.
