Public bug reported: Prior to cycling to work in the morning, I'd like to know if I need to cart rain gear for the way home. The xfce4-weather-plugin sits in the lower-right hand corner of the panel and is almost perfect.
The problem is that it shows the current weather, which offers the same information as looking out the window. Clicking on the icon shows the daily forecast, including what to expect for the evening. There does not appear to be a way to configure the software to show the evening forecast by default instead of the current conditions. It would be convenient if the plug-in could be customized to display: * a raincloud icon in the panel if the day is expected to end in showers (or partly cloudy); and * the probability of precipitation. ** Affects: xfce4-weather-plugin (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1579276 Title: Feature Request: Show evening weather To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-weather-plugin/+bug/1579276/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
