I should have put a smiley at the end of that.

Still.... is this being worked?

Thanx,

Jim

** Summary changed:

- I CAN SEE THE MOUSE! compiz.real (Black screen after idle) crashed with
SIGSEGV
+ compiz.real (Black screen after idle) crashed with SIGSEGV

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: compiz
+
+ I CAN SEE THE MOUSE!

Once machine is idle for a period the screen goes blank. (In power management
and screensaver I told it not too.)
If I move the mouse to wake I can see mouse, clearly, moving around screen
but almost the whole screen is black. (There is a small white square in
upper-right corner I think.)

I have waited over an hour for something to happen but nothing changes.
I can do a CTRL-ALT-Backspace and can login again but this does generate
  an error.
