Same effect here as you described (Samsung Ativbook 7 730U3E with Intel/ATI graphic). Xubuntu 15.10 with all the updates worked. After upgrading to 16.04 suspend stopped working.
Due to some issues with systemd during the upgrade I did a fresh install of 16.04 Xubuntu but ran into the same suspend problem. I hope you can fix this in the official Kernel as I'd like to stick to the "original" an 16.04 is a LTS version. I guess petersaints gave enough information (thanks for this!) - I just want to push this with my vote :-) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1570820 Title: Suspend failure To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1570820/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
