Unfortunately no change with the new kernel.

To be more precise, I had the laptop on, pre-booted with the 
Win-Installation trick, therefore with the touchpad on. After upgrading 
and checking the kernel I re-started the laptop and the touchpad was 
still working. Rebooting after a complete shutdown made the thouchpad 
dead again.
I am planning to install the 16.04 release.
Will this interfere with your tests?
I am still using my old laptop but with the win-inst workaround I will 
soon move to the S935, hoping that sooner or later the problem will be 
solved.
