Public bug reported:

Hello,

When trying to access to the upper menus in the menu bar or to the right
click menus on the image, it is impossible to do so, because the image
in incrusted in the desktop (or sort of... have incrusted).

To fix it, I had to launch VLC without a file or a DVD running in it,
and change the configuration for the video.

This is what the configuration file looks now, in the machine where I did the
setup:
http://paste.ubuntu.com/15724100/
http://paste.ubuntu.com/15724100/plain

Please take note, the laptop, a brand new machine with Intel i3 and
Intel i965 chipset, had an Ubuntu Classic Trusty (up to date) and now
has a Ubuntu Mate Wily (up to date). I have observed this behavior in
both editions.

Please, fix this default configuration!

Best regards,
Mélodie
