Public bug reported: Not seeing sgX device for LUNs after upgrading to Ubuntu 16.04 -17 kernel
This is probably caused by the following patch added on Ubuntu kernel 4.4.0-17: - SAUCE: (noup) powerpc/pci: Assign fixed PHB number based on device-tree properties". That said, i would like to ask Canonical to revert the SAUCE patch 42a1e725ec14f0ce4d5e5b0fcf6d23260d0dcc08. It has a bad side effect. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Assignee: Taco Screen team (taco-screen-team) Status: New ** Tags: architecture-ppc64 bugnameltc-140054 severity-critical targetmilestone-inin1604 ** Tags added: architecture-ppc64 bugnameltc-140054 severity-critical targetmilestone-inin1604 ** Changed in: ubuntu Assignee: (unassigned) => Taco Screen team (taco-screen-team) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1567581 Title: Surelock GA2 SP1: surelock02p05: Not seeing sgX devices for LUNs after upgrading to Ubuntu 16.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1567581/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
