I believe the a similar problem occurs with gnome-terminal and the system terminal preferred app: the Application > Accessories > Terminal link will always launch GNOME Terminal.
I guess GNOME or Ubuntu could provide mini wrappers around the GConf configured apps such as a command-line + desktop file for "configured- terminal" or "preferred-terminal"; another way would be to integrate with sensible-browser and x-terminal-emulator by making these lookup into GConf if under GNOME. This would be quite similar to what GStreamer does with gconfaudiosink. -- Web browser button on top panel should open preferred application, rather than firefox/evolution https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/26394 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
