Public bug reported: (Packages affected are kernel and mesa source (intel DRI))
3D apps such as Google Earth that request VBL sync'ed operations fail miserably on 965gm based machines due to an interrupt issue. This has been fixed via 2 patches, one to the kernel intel DRM module and one to the Mesa side intel DRI driver, available at: http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux-2.6.git;a=commit;h=e4a7b1d1d90d202a030688ab5b177c3c0f15ee3e and http://gitweb.freedesktop.org/?p=mesa/mesa.git;a=commitdiff;h=b3fc9a1585f390274fa26b3e3f80bc6d16f4388a ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [gutsy] DRI interrupts busted on 965gm (+fix) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/148429 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
