Yes. I forgot all about it in Feisty since I was using my own built xserver-xorg-video-i810 version 1.9.93, since the bundled i810 driver (1.7.*) had this bug. Now in Gutsy I am using the xserver-xorg-video-intel driver, and it gives me exactly the same artifact (see screenshot).
