I have been away from the keyboard for a few hours. It is nice weather,
so nice outdoors here today :-)

Would you say it is meaningful to build a new alsa driver (even if it is
means installing many packages?

If that is the case, should I do it in a separate system (to avoid
damaging the current system)? I have a multiboot system already.

Or should I just press alt + F4 to get rid of the windows that want me
to file bug reports until the fix promised by Takashi Iwai will trickle
down to my system?
