Note: I just played around with the Plug n Play and Custom options and found that my P1100 monitor is not autodetected, although http://www.monitorworld.com/Monitors/compaq/p1100.html tells me the HSYNC and VSYNC ranges for this monitor is the same as the P1110. Note: While messing about with the System->Administration->Screens and Graphics settings again and clicking test, I found that all of my desktop icons have disappeared!
