I will check on it but, I was able to do a decent voice chat on skype but the front mic boost level was set at maximum( there was no front mic level). Also for the boost level there was only 3 levels of setting. Will post my findings. meanwhile in I tried alsa 1.0.15rc3 in ubuntu gutsy and it didn't work. Thanks, Venky
