X11 output makes the picture quality suck big time. it's not good enough. This bug have been around forever now. Seems it have low priority. It should be fixed cause bugs like this scare windows users from converting. They want linux cause they've seen the fancy compiz/beryl effects and they have heard it's more secure and they want to get away from microsoft. But when they cannot do a simple thing as watching video while using beryl the entire thing seems useless for them. I still cannot understand why this works perfect on my computer. Perfect picture quality using alternative open source ati drivers combined with beryl. I had the same problem, but I did a lot of crap like installing unsecure updates and also installing ubuntu studio on top of it.
Hop this bug is history soon. We need to make windows users feel secure It's time to finally get linux where it should have been years ago.
