I dont fully understand this process especially the "git" commands , so I cant be sure I'm not going to invalidate my current system somehow, so at this time I'm unable to proceed. I'll just have to hope the fix in 4.5-rc4 magically appears in a future kernel.. Thanks for your assistance.
