Jamie, The path is not mounted before log in, and actually the windows partition does not get mounted even after I log in until I click on it in Places->Computer->WinXP. Gutsy requires an administrative password to mount it (because it is an internal vs external disk), in Feisty I think it used to get mounted automatically the same way an external usb drive would. In any case after I mounted it, tracker (Version: 0.6.3-0ubuntu1) still does not index it, as non of the content there appears in the search results.
I am not sure if this is a problem with tracker or the way feisty deals with my windows partition. I think the correct behavior for feisty would have been to mount my windows partition at boot time. -- Tracker does not seem to index folders on an NTFS partition. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/146842 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
