Public bug reported:

In Ubuntu Trusty I am using virt-manager to install a version of Ubuntu
16.04. Installation seems to be ok.

After clicking the fullscreen button, the window resizes to fullscreen,
but the virtual machine inside that window does not resize itself to
fullscreen at all, instead it stays in a smaller screensize. The maximum
screensize that I can select in the virtual machine is 1280*1024, but I
would like to have it 1920*1080 to be really fullscreen.

I can see no option to change this, it seems to be a bug.
