@charlesk - post from 2016-02-04 Uhm, I hope you don't mind the question, but why should clock alarms override silent mode? I did actually file this behavior as a bug (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-clock-app/+bug/1542889). Silent mode should be silent regardless of the action coming up. Or maybe you should be able to choose which actions are allowed to override silent mode?
