The s3 driver randomly locks up the system when using 15bpp and 16bpp, mostly on fade effects. The most absolute way is to click the shutdown button. When the system locks up, the system is in unusable state, I tried pushing the power button and it doesn't respond, virtual consoles doesn't work. I just push the power button in 3 seconds to shutdown the pc. Is there a way to provide a backtrace, I would like to provide you more details, but the logs doesn't display any messages about the crash.
