Gutsy now uses Debian's im-switch setting which sets QT_IM_MODULE=xim in /etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/scim. So this bug is fixed.
The /etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/scim-immodule setting unfortunately doesn't address scim-qtimm yet, but that's a separtate issue. ** Changed in: scim (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Fix Released -- Ubuntu users (Gnome users) can not use scim in qt applications. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/49331 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
