I can confirm this is happening to me as well using up to date Gutsy beta / Dolphin 0.9.2. It won't remember any settings chosen, either using the icons in the toolbar, the "View" menu (as in viewing hidden files / folders), or in the "Adjust View Properties" menu (setting option as default for just that folder or all folders). It always reverts back to "Preview" view and not viewing hidden files / folders on a restart of Dolphin.
