I haven't been able to reproduce this. When you say "system menu", you
mean the main systems settings app screen? What kind of network are you
connected to when it crashes?
Please enable crash reporting under Security & Privacy->Diagnostics.
Then reproduce the crash, and fine the link to the crash report under
"Previous error reports" which can be found on the same Diagnostics
page.
